another one joins the ranks

so...i have not joined the rest of the world in blogging until now. yes, i know, it's about time. i am a little slow. i guess i just always thought that it was weird to journal online. don't get me wrong; i am definitely a fan of writing things down. i just tend to not want to be a "joiner". everyone else was blogging, so i figured i should stay away. however, i recently had an epiphany. as much as i enjoy and value the act of journaling, i often forget to do so. i either get too busy or allow other things to take priority. blogging, on the other hand, involves the introduction of outside readers who will notice when i am not blogging. in conclusion, i have found that blogging is indeed accountability.
